My parents gave me this cool vase for Christmas. It has three test tube thingies for the stems. And I'm a sucker for these rubrum lilies.

Having the lily in front of the window and the blinds really seems to set the colour and delicacy of it off.

Though the word 'rubrum' is a little Stephen King-esque for me...anybody remember 'REDRUM'? Is there a connection? I am pathetically ignorant about flowers.
It's a Japanese lily, but I think (could be wrong) that 'rubrum' is like a specific name. Yes, I remember Redrum! Creepy! :-)
