This is my mantel at Christmas. It's kinda -- no, VERY -- plain compared to the mantels I've done in the past, but it's a happy one for me. Kinda hate to see the stockings taken down.

I moved everything out today except the tree. I could have used another week. Beautiful fireplace.
I miss having a fireplace to hang the stockings around. I am taking all our decorations down tomorrow, I hate to see them go too.
I miss seeing your rooster painting. Simplicity is good, though.
