After the rain comes the rainbow.

Between two rows of storms that passed through this afternoon, this peeked from behind the clouds. I caught this off I-85 while picking up Clark from school.

Wow, you got it. Rainbows are assuring and hopeful, aren't they? Thanks.

Really pretty, Beth. Good thing you had your camera with you! I've always wanted to get a shot of a rainbow. One day.

Aha!!! So you did the snap-and-drive too! Caught ya! LOL Rainbows are the best & I'm glad you caught it. :)

So I have to know if you took this while driving along, or if you were stopped. We had the most incredible colors tonight for sunset (with lots of strange cloud formations), but I was driving down the interstate. Too wet and congested to take photos, and I was BUMMED! (Great photo, BTW :-) And I loved your doggie photo, too.

No, I wasn't driving! I was at Clark's school parking lot. I was thinking yesterday about how many pictures I couldn't take because I was in the car driving!

What a great photo! I've gotten in the habit of carrying my camera with me everywhere so I can hopefully catch something really beautiful or interesting!

Beautiful! As Paula says, rainbows breathe hope.

I like thinking of us all with our cameras everywhere.

Great Shot! I have never gotten a rainbow picture to turn out very well. I too like thinking of us with our cameras thinking about what we want to show our friends or just trying to 'capture the feeling' of the whole day in one or two shots.

Alright, the elusive rainbow. What a hard thing to photograph...light itself. Because of this project, I have been keeping a camera on the seat next to me in the car, and carrying it with me everywhere. I haven't done this since highschool. Since I do it for work, I have been keeping the camera in its case when I'm not working. I have been taking pictures of everything. Such a good thing. I am going to have to buy a 500gig hard drive just to store everything...not to mention my wife's newfound interest in the medium. Are you shooting jpegs and posting them as-is, or are you doing some correction? I really love your first two posts for their artistic expression. the one with the road is quite nice. Light like that is always hard to capture properly. You hit it on the head.

the rainbow reminds me of God's faithfulness... gives hope for the storms of life as well!

Jeff, I'm just shooting on my digital camera (or my cellphone set to high res) and sending to my iPhoto. I use the iPhoto editing software to crop or eliminate red eye or whatever, but I haven't made the jump to buying good editing software to play with. Glad you and Dalissa jumped on the 365 bandwagon with the rest of us.
