isn't the black/white/grey guy a night heron? i think i see them fairly often by a lake close to me.
Oh, maybe he is. I just saw the one on the right and thought "kingfisher" (and figured the boring one was the female!) ... but I'm not a bird-watcher, so I'll go with your I. D.! Julie's a bird-watcher so maybe she'll chime in.
