I am so impressed. I mean the picture is really good but I've never known anyone who used a mortar and pestle before! (Is that even how you spell it?)
Neat shot, but I will keep my grinder for peppercorns :) I have a small wooden mortar and pestle set for herbs, but I don't use it much. Yours is really pretty!

I loved using mortar and pestle in Morocco but haven't since. Yummy pot roast - lucky.
I do it daily when I need pepper! :-) I almost exclusively use celtic sea salt and peppercorns, and either use a table grinder or this. Sadly, my timing was off and the pot roast wasn't ready in time for dinner Thursday, then came meatless Friday....so hopefully tonight for dinner we'll finally get to eat it!
