Steering a course through a sea of green

OK, I must be obsessed. How could one possibly milk one spigot for two photos?? I mean, really. With all the diversity of the world, and all the glory of springtime, you'd think I'd be going for an alternative. But for some reason this lonely misfit of a spigot catches my attention. The grass has grown and the spigot is all but invisible. Today it made me think of a ship's wheel.

This perspective is wonderful, I understand the need for the second shot!

I really like this...it took me a minute to figure it out, and it was good therapy.

I like this one even better! It's so big in the frame but so little in the one at the bottom of the blog. Wonderful textures too.

I like this one a lot too. We once had an assignment where we had to take 100 different pictures of the same thing. It was one of the hardest, but neatest projects I ever did.

It reminds me of a big, metal sunflower! I like it!

I like the light and shadow, and the green grass in the background. Very nice!

And Sandie, I like that idea a lot. Hmmm....

I definitely think that this unique spigot merits a second shot!

I think you should go for a whole spigot series.

I second jo(e). I like this. I'd like to see more.

I've really enjoyed them both; you must always remember that you're never going to look at something the same way twice, so two photos makes perfect sense to me.
