These were two sights I encountered on my way to the beach for the holiday weekend...the post office and the roadside market.

That's just about the cutest post office I have ever seen. I love tiny post offices. I've always wanted to work in a post office.heeh I even secretly desired, years ago, to be a mailwoman...now the secret is out.

I would have stopped to photograph the post office as well. What about those who worked within it? What were they like? Great photos.
I would have stopped in at the post office, but I had a dog and a boy who were ready to get to the beach house! I was pushing their patience to stop at the market but I'm glad I did...I am enjoying a bouquet of zinnias on my table.
I would love to make a visit to that market! The post office is so cute. I've seen many a one like that on our family trips back and forth from SC to FL. Enjoy your weekend at the beach!
