I haven't had internet for several days, so pardon while I play catch up. These magnolias were blooming on the campus of Converse College, when I picked Mackenzie up from basketball camp Friday. The scent is heavenly.

I really like this photo. The texture is incredible!
Both of these are wonderful! I think Dali is right it is the texture that makes them so special. The soft lighting is great too.
I love seeing the green curlicues and the later, brown version of them...I'm always too busy looking at the blossom and miss the curly doodads, so that's why I tried to focus in on them.
