Art class

Today we moved off painting for awhile and are working on charcoal drawings. As usual, I'm wanting to get to the good stuff by shortcutting the groundwork. My instructor is showing me how to set up the composition.

This is an awesome shot! I really like how you have captured the intensity of the model and the artist.

Now we get to see a glimpse of your art world! I love the way the eye is drawn to the model. Cool shot!

What perfect composition on this photo! I love the way the model is wedged between canvas and artist.

May I just add that I missed her feet until I opened the photo? Wow. And that wonderful green chair leg is in just the right place. This is my favorite shot you've taken. I keep staring at it - especially her face combined with those feet. Such intensity.
