I have been enjoying your photos so much, and these are just terrific. I love the straight, narrow "bike path" through the marsh; the contrast is great. They all stir good memories...
I love the egret shot. Really nice.
The egret one is mesmerizing--there's something so appealing in the crisp white against misty moss and water. Gorgeous.

Yes, argon, this is the only Edisto I know of! I checked out your blog, and we travel in the same circles. Brookgreen Garden and the art supply on King's Street in Charleston are two of my favorite places!
Rach, I think I'm going to try to paint the egret one.
I love that egret photo especially, but the cypress tree is wonderfull too.
